The Cellcom National League season will tomorrow enter the third week with several exciting fixtures that will see 8th place Jubilee FC going against bottom-side Mighty Barrolle in tomorrow’s encounter at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
Struggling Barrolle will be hoping to get their first win in the new season having lost their first two games against Monrovia Club Breweries and LPRC Oilers.
The ‘Church Boys’ of Jubilee FC, who were smashed 4 goals to nil by Champions BYC in week-2 mid-week fixture, are also hoping to secure a win in order to recover from their 4-0 nightmare.
In Friday’s encounter, Paynesville based ELWA United will welcome league Champions BYC at the ATS.
ELWA started the campaign in a bad form, conceding the league’s biggest defeat so far, losing 5-1 to FC Fassel, but they later secured their first three points by defeating Wantaga FC 1-0 in week- at the ATS.
Champions BYC, second on the league table will also enter the match anticipating another three points to continue their winning form.
The Go Blue Boys have collected 6 points, 5 goals from its first two matches. The league will continue on Saturday with two matches at the ATS.
In the after lunch match, 9th place Keitrace FC yet to secure a win or concede a defeat, will knock horns against 6th place Wataga FC.
Later during the day, the Shipping Boys of LISCR FC will play against LPRC Oilers at the ATS.
LISCR FC moved up to 4th place on the table after securing a point in their first match and by later defeating the Yellow Boys (Invisible Eleven) 2-0 at the ATS on Sunday.
George Solo of Oilers will miss the match after being punished with a red card in the match against Barrolle last Saturday.
Week-3 of the new campaign will climax on Sunday with two encounters during the day. MC Breweries who are fifth on the table will face the Mountainous Boys of Nimba United who have so far collected a point in the new season.
In the day’s last game Invisible Eleven will enter into an encounter against league leaders FC Fassel.
