Sunday September 4, 2016 would go down in history as one of the national soccer team, Lone Stars’ disastrous performances against the Desert Eagles of Tunisia. Liberia and Tunisia were contesting for the top spot of Group A, and any slip from the top could be dangerous, especially for Liberia because of having wasted a golden opportunity against Togo at home. In the above photo, striker William Jebor in a close mark of a Tunisian player saw the Lone Star making a huge slip that spelled the doom of the team’s Gabon campaign. “We fell together we will rise together,” is a refrain of head coach James Salinsa Debbah but many fans don’t believe that he has learned enough to lead the team for the future.
