Coach David Nimely

Liberia Football Association (LFA) first division club, Sensational LPRC Oilers, is in search of a qualified coach to handle the mantle of authority of the gold and black outfit for the upcoming season.

According to a release from the club, applicants must have obtained at least License A or B certificate of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) with good moral standing. The club also wants applicants to be results oriented.

Applicants can submit their application to the President, Oilers Sports Association (OSA) Product Storage Terminal Compound, on Bushrod Island, Monrovia.

It may be recalled that Sensational LPRC Oilers played half of last season without a head coach after the club sacked Coach Gabriel Johns due to erratic performances.

He was fired after Oilers lost to Grand Bassa County based second division club Fair Play FC in the LFA knockout competition.

Deputy Coach Prince Kolleh was then handed the mantle of authority, but another improved performance led the team to escape relegation on the last day with a narrow 1-0 win over defending champions Nimba United.

There are speculations that Nimba United head coach Kollie Kovah is eying the hot seat, while former Mighty Barrolle head coach and former Lone Star deputy coach David Nimely is also considering the job.
